So, Waking up on an overcast Mondei, like todei, calls for an uplifting track to help motivate and get things going.
One of the perfect tracks for such a morning is this track by the Australian band Hard-Ons.
The track? "Where Did She Come From" released as a single in 1990.
This band caught the eyes, and ears of such people like Henry Rollins, Dave Grohl, and Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra.
Even being asked by Rollins, in 1991, to cover the song "Let There Be Rock" which was originally written by fellow Australians AC/DC.
I saw this band in October of 2006 when they played at The Beat Kitchen in Chicago, IL supporting their album "Most People Are a Waste of Time" with soem other punkers, The Queers, who've been in the game for almost as long.
As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Optimum Creakage" by Green Nuns of the Revolution from the "Optimum Creakage" EP released in 1995 on Dragonfly Records.
