In 1979, Black Flag played their first show at Moose Lodge 1873 in Redondo Beach, California. Last night, more than 34 years later, Flag -- a group comprised of former members Keith Morris (vocals), Chuck Dukowski (bass), Dez Cadena (guitar/vocals) and Bill Stevenson (drums), with Descendents/ALL guitarist Stephen Egerton -- played the same venue to an invite-only crowd of less than 200 people.

Chris Maalouf...

Arizona action...
First time I saw this kid was at the Tempe park. He was doing the BS180 KF's up the euro and [somehow] catching them [with his feet] at 90 degrees and tweaked up and back like a Jesse Martinez method air.
(minus the hand, this is how Chris was catching those flips)

(looks like the Streetstyle In Tempe course)

Free Lunch: Neen Williams...

So, here's a kid I first met around 2000 at the LaGrange YMCA in LaGrange, Illinois, Neen Williams.
One memory I have of hanging with him was back in like 2002-'03, we were at this skate house and the only two up at like 8 in the morning, everyone else was sleeping, so we cruz'd to IHOP and had breakfast.
He would call me to go skate sometimes during weekday afternoons, but I had a 9-5 and could never meet up, now look at him.
