Today's Time Capsule, Joe Jackson...

So, there used to be this pivotal, influential musician named Joe Jackson who was part of the No Wave of punk rock in the late 70's early 80's. This track came out in 1979 as a single, and on the album of the saem name which has such great tunes on it, that I still listen to it to this dei.
Even back then he was talking about making Skateboards repectable. How rad is that? The dude has been hip to skating since the beginning. His music may not be as punk as, let's say, the Sex Pistols, but punk in the sense of not doing waht's trendy or popular.
If you like the studio version of the video you should watch the Live Version of the song, so much energy in that place that you wish you were there to be a part of it. Thank You Joe.
Now if you'll excuse me, I will be "Steppin' Out"

As of the end of this post I am currentlt listening to "Mexicalli" by Spazztic Blurr from the album "Befo Da Album..." released in 1988 on Earache records.
