In separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
Gradually add to Shortening mixture and cream until light and fluffy.

So, you should go ahead and make yourself a pound of Bacon to snack on while these babies are baking in th'oven. Oh, Beety Dubs, this is an original recipe from my great-grandmother Bessie Allen. Hopefully this is soemthing you'll be cotton to.

1 Cup Bacon drippings (trust me)
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
6 Tbsp Molasses
3 Cups Flour
2 1/2 tsp Soda
3/4 tsp Cloves (not the cigarette)
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp Ginger

Cream the drippings and Sugar thoroughly.
Add Eggs and Molasses and beat until smooth.
Add Flour, Soda and Spices.
Chill dough for two hours.
Roll into 1" (inch) balls and roll in Sugar.

Brown Sugar, You Taste So Good...

So, it being the holiday season for eating sweets and getting drunk and fat and all that junk. I figured I would give you soem old family recipe of mine to cook for that NYE party or post NYE brunch, in which case it would be a New Years Brunch, right? Hell go ahead and throw a party for Santa's Birthday. He would have been 1764 this year. Wahtewer you do, wahtewer your faith, I'm sure you have soem sort of trad that you practice, or have down to a science, to keep hope alive and spirits up, tipped and flowing. Whether you go to take brandy in your Egg Nog wearing soem gross blinking sweater or feed the reindeer Amanita Muscaria and drink their urine and have an out-of-body experience to bring Holiday Cheer, I'm sure eating one ov these butes will make you gargle in your sleep under the coffee table.

Brown Sugar Cookies:

1 cup Brown Sugar
2/3 cup Shortening
2 eggs
5 Tbsp Cream or canned Milk
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Baking POWDER
1/2 tsp Soda
2 1/2 cups Flour

Mix Brown Sugar, Shortening and Eggs until light.
Add Salt and Vanilla.
Sift Flour, Baking Powder and Soda together.
Gradually add to Sugar mixture and blend well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350* until lightly browned.
Frost when cool.

FROSTING:

2 Tbsp shortening
3/4 box Powdered Sugar Milk
1 tsp Vanilla

Cream Shortening and Sugar.
Add enough Milk to make a spreading consistency.
Add Vanilla

Well, there you have it. You can play with the amounts to make your own likeness to flavor. This recipe is by no means Vegan. You, however, can take the appropriate steps to exchange ingredients and make a Vegan treat.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Cradle to Enslave" by S-Cube from an unknown album. I DWNLD'd this from Beatbiz back on Thursday, July 20th, 2006.
S-Cube did a Remix for the NIN song "Hand That Feeds" also.
Soem pretty good Psy-Trance. Enjoy.

Kewt "Sport"...

So, this is no Gayer than UFC. In case you didn't know waht UFC was, it's that show where two guys or hunks as I think they like to be called, 69 each other in Speedos to prove to the other that they are notGay, you Faggot!

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Eye Of The Dreamer" by SFX from the album "Rainbirds" released in 1995 on Music & Sound records. SFX is basically Aban Don, Outmosphere, and the ewer globally popular Astral Projection. Soem fine early Goa Trance from Israel.

Shot Of Love...

So, who among us hasn't listed to at least one King's X song? Who among us also hasn't dreamed about being a black bass player wearing soem sort of napolean band leader coat? May I add, with a dope hair-cut to complete the ensam?
Okay then, well. Who of you cares to read the lyrics for the song "Shot of Love?"
wow! That many, eh? here you go then.

Shot Of Love:
See the bread, see the wine. See the graft into the vine. This is what it is to be, it always made sense to me.
Send a shot of love across the mountain to the sea, frome the poles of North and South, wherever we may be.
Sometimes my cup is empty, my wish that it stay full 'cause I am always thirsty I can't get enough of you.
Send a shot of love across the mountain to the sea, frome the poles of North and South, wherever we may be.
There is nowhere else to go, there is nothing else to do, there is nowhere else to turn, the first and last is you.
Oh I hear the music, oh I need a brand new song.
Send a shot of love across the mountain to the sea, from the poles of North and South, wherever we may be.

Sound like soem sort of god nosense or just an ode to love and breakups? I guess that's why it's KNDA vague so metal fans in 1987 would still rock. It's kinda like Rob Halford and Freddie Mecury with their lyrics so vague that you don't know that their Gay.

Today's Time Capsule, Ted Nugent...

So, back when I was a little itty bitty 6 year old iSapien 1956672, in 1980, mai Dad came home with this, I mean the best, thing that made mai brother and I crank the stereo to 10 and put on those big white Pioneer SE-30 headphones. It was the most powerful thing I have ewer heard in mai entire life up until that point, a cassette tape of Ted Nugent's "Scream Dream."

I remember being in awe of the cover, "How did his arms become guitars?", "Is he in soem sort of pain, is that why he's screaming?" Oh, and the music. Mai god man, the music is soooo balls out. Soemthing of which I had no clue of since mine had not dropped yet, I could not get enuff of this whether it was played in the stereo, the headphones, the Chevy Scottsdale, the walkman, the Chrysler, mai 1st Audi, you name it I cranked it all the way to this dei. The tape player in this Audi has since failed only to have go all iPod all the time. I do not have "Scream Dream" on CD or any other format to enjoy.

That saem cassette followed me as we moved from Genoa, IL (Birth 1974-'82) to Oregon, IL ('82-'85) and then our move to St. Charles, IL ('85-present) where I listened to that tape all the time. The actual tape now resides in the basement of mai Mommy's house. At almost 30 years old it still plays perfectly, no tape crinkles, no magnetic warping, no solar melting, and no machine has ewer gotten hungry or brave enuff to sink its teeth into the Nuge.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Core" by Tsuyoshi Suzuki from the album "Deck Wizards 2" released in 1996 on Psychic Deli records. The vinyl is a DJ friendly 2xLP whereas the CD is the mix in its entirety as one continuous track of 1h 16m 53s, instead of cut-up into separates like most mix CDs come as.
The actual track that is playing from the mix is "Track 4" by Oligo
