Today's TIme Capsule: Straitjacket Fits - All That That Brings...

So, back in the early 90's whilst attending St. Charles High School (there was no east or north back then) in beatutiful St. Charles, IL. 60174 I used to listen to this band's cassette that featured this song. It was released on Rough Trade records. I had become addicted to the label after hearing "feedtime + suction" by the band Feedtime, and even more after going to the Rough Trade store in San Francisco back in 1991.
It was much like my addiction to Touch & Go, Sub Pop Records, and Wax Trax! Records.

To this dei I still get chills while listening to this song. I hope you enjoy it, even if only a small percentage.

Antagon - Bird Brain...

So, I've been addicted to this track lately. It's from the compilation "Psytraveller vol.2" a 45 track (3 Disc) compilation CD released by Psytraveller.net, please go czech them out if you're into this track, or just curious.
You can also find a link to Psytraveller via the "Psychedelic Traveller" banner link, if you scroll down, on the right side of this page. (underneath mai Amazon wishlist)

I love listening to it while commuting back home from work on the train.

What's Grosser Than Gross???

Two vampires fight over a bloody Kotex®.
(I was told that joke when I was like 9 years old)

Today's Time Capsule: Ozric Tentacles...

So, back in like 1996-'97 I found out about this band by reading interviews of mai favorite Goa Psychedelic Trance artists (Doof, Hallucinogen, etc.) and almost every time the name Ozric Tentacles came up as either an influence or music that they're into at the moment. Also, I found out that two of the members were the band Eat Static, so that made me want to search for albums by "The Ozrics" even moar.
I've heard some Eat Static tracks on various Goa/Psy compilations and even owned a copy of "Epsylon"at the time, but had no clue about their other group.
This track is one of mai faves especially the breakdown in the middle and right where it picks up again.

I had the chance to see this band back in like 2005 at The Abbey Pub in Chicago, but ended up not going because I didn't know anyone else that was going or that even wanted to go, and I didn't wanna go by myself. My loss.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Rag"by Shudder To Think from the album "Ten Spot" released in 1990 on Dischord Records.
(Ten Spot came as a bonus on the CD for Funeral at the Movies)

Friendly's: Heidi's High 5 Quest...

So, I stumbled across this restaurant, Friendly's, just now when I randomly typed "friendly" into Google.
Now I wanna take a road trip to Ohio to go eat at one, maybe get a kewl High 5 after I order a Honey BBQ SuperMelt® Sandwich (from the $9.99 create your own meal menu) or maybe the Sweet & Spicy Grilled Shrimp✝ entrée (from the under 555 calories menu) since I am "trying" to lose weight.

BTW: czech oat the ice cream flavours you get to pick from to make your sundae with... soembody get me a drool bib.
