Wisdom Of Tea #3...
So, I drink this really great tea by a brand called Yogi™ Tea. Mai fav flav is the Lemon-Ginger, OMG you can drink this w/o any sweeteners, which is always a plus in mai book. Anyway they have these pieces of kite-string wisdom on each bag.
"Wisdom, character and consciousness conquer all."
As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Side 1" of an old Rave maixtape called "Pure" from 1994 mixed by Fenix.

Enjoy The Scenery...
So, 2dei I leave for Arizona. fun fun fun, no commas. I'm all packed for the OMA 4th annual BBQ. The only thing I'm undecided on is which iPod to bring. Do I bring mai 4th generation 20GB clickwheel or mai 1GB shuffle that I can just snap on to mai necklace? The 1 GB will give me 11 hours of musical shuffle tunage whereas the 20GB will give me 2938 songs. Do I pick moar songs over compactibility?
I have mai Dry Bones Nation (DB Nation) shirt packed alone with mai two Buster Bear shirts "Lonely Boy" & "Cousin Of Death." The COD graphic was done by Scott "SAG Arthur Zone" Gall as part of the Buster Bear guest artist series called Buster Brothers.
As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Light Echoes" by Proton Kinoun from the album "Apeiron" released in 2009 on the label Omnitropic.
Soem Great true Ambient.

The Dream Is Held...
So, Monday I sk8d hard at the park from 11:30am-4pm, I almost killed a kid on a razor scooter who's Dad thought the sk8prk was a daycare. After I left the park at 4pm, I went home ate some Chips, Salsa and refined beans with a few Adult Sodas for about an hour. Mai colored friend Alex called me, he was out riding bikes with Scott SAG Arthur Zone, and they wanted to meet up with me. I met them half way and when they got to where I was, Alex got a flat tire after smacking his kewt tiny tire against the curb. So dainty & delicate. We then decided to park the bikes at North & Halsted and go for a nice summer walk. We walked down to a local 7-Eleven to attain some sweets. Me? oh I got some Banana/Vanilla cotton candy and an Orange Creme© Slurpee™.
We then went to sit on the stoop of some fashion store on Halsted, it had a cozy feel all New York like, I felt like I was on the set of Crooklyn, just people watching.
This one girl walked up with her BF and asked waht we were up to and if we'd want her to make us a Bluetooth, seeing as only Alex & Scott wear glasses, I was left out of the art show. Alex was the first one up, she told him that the only people he could call were God and Dracula. She tied, I think, a piece of licorice or some other candy-like string to the ear-piece of his glasses, Scott's too. Alex then offered up to her one of his prized drawing from his sketch book, Scott followed suit and all I had to offer her was one of the stickers that I had gotten made. She loved them all and asked a small history about each piece. The whole experience made Alex's day. On the way back we walked my a bar called the Manhandler Saloon, I think that made Scott's dei.
When I had gotten home I came up with this little ???????? for the open Mic that Alex, the Analogue Angel and I might do at one of these artsy fartsy coffee houses, here it is:
horoscope, lyph, sk8, byks decipher wahts right in the nyte as buttered knife to corn like porn is born to bite this lifer's might.
As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Navras" by Juno Reactor from the album "Labyrinth" released in 2004.

HAKAS Has Begun...
So, thanks to Chicago weather, Hakas Tour has been post-PWND for almost a month now. It seems that the next few months will be on the up side of Sunny Days rather than the up side Rainy. A full cast of Flatbellies, Barneys, Kooks, Mallgrabbers, Mongo Pushers and Data Files. So, enjoy the preview, it's not a trailer, because they were called trailers because they used to play them AFTER the movie was over, like a trailer.
As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Gary's Breakfast" by Butterglove from the album "The John Morand Session" 1997. Butterglove is some pretty good math rock ish with Pen Rollings on guitar. Perfect for HAKAS Tour.

So, I don't know if the seven of you now noticed that we have an 8th that has joined us, It is SAG Arthur Zone from the Kewt Spoof bloggable web funzone. Now when I address you people I will now be saying "the eight of you" and no longer say, Seven (7). No song for this post, I'm Auto Filling and charging my 1GB iPod Shuffle. Oh, and instead of saying random, I will be saying shuffle from now on. "OMG, that's soooo Shuffle"

Kewt Spoof
So, loik mai FRND Scott Sag Arthur Zone just started his kewt blog on the web interface. He uses his qwerty to type Kewt Stuffs also. BTW, I have a wake 2GO2 todai, in Bartlett, IL. for mai old boss' Dad. Strangers die everyday, this one I actually knew, he was a kewl old dewd who said what was on his mind and spoke the troof, never snowballed you. Not that KNDA snowball either. I don't RLY hate wakes all that much as I do the Viewings. All motionless and inanimate. It's loik staring at someone while they sleep. Can't do it anymore, I used to fake going up there, KNDA loik when you get a greeting card and you open it and count to about 5 or 10 and say thank you. That's basically what I'm doing up there, counting. So, Mr. B if you read this, and then don't see me look over you L8R, I'm SRY. Just know what's in my head, I will miss your head locks & pats on the back. As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Orop Desert EA 1954-1955" by Schloss Tegal from the album "Oranur III: the 3rd report" 1994. Some good noise ambient.

I-Path Demoooooo...
So, this video is the Buster Bear/Dry Bones version of the I-Path
As you can see, I took one of Gordon's daughters dancing. I like Guacamule as swell. I fell in love with my lost love again, Tech Decks
Brian, former owner of RQ skateshop in Naperville, IL was there, he KNDA promoted the shit out this thing, getting sponsors like Chipolte, Tech Deck
OMG that Ben Rayburn kid or whatever his name is, FRICK!!! sooooofickin' goood, he's loik 14-16 years young, Crailed loik half the deep end of the Wilson bowl, just str8 up PWND everything, did some sort of nosegrab 360℃ to fakie. He's looks loik a mini Jake Phelps, except with less SPI (spit per square inch). I, myself, repped my Yeah! A Place For Boards/Brimely collaboration shades, also repped Thrasher Magazine
I also handed out ALL of the Lowcard stickers, they were just laying there on the ground in a big pile spread out for people to take, but they were not being taken because all the kids were in the street course watching history unfold. So, I guess I KNDA repped them too, spreading the word of how "You can't polish a Turd". I'm a Subbie through & through though. I'm not black enough to Rep the Chi (pronounced Shy not Chee or Chai
I love this City & all the Bros I've met along the way, Jesse Neuhaus, Twins, Reggie, Biker Jose, Johnny Fonseca, Emfon, Tony the Juggler, Chris Forestine (spelling), Rutas, Meth, Salon John, Chris Quinn (pipes in front of your parents), Fat USA Kevin, KOOKalabro, Grumpy, Steve Dread, Turbo, Kalis, Hensley, Melcher/Marfa, Nate/Tony/Jub/Jason, Nate Lyons, Rob McBride, Sava/Paul, Wheaton Pussies other bros too, Thanks Metra . I don't have much that much free time. Well, possibly.

I Skate, I Live, I Path...
So, tomorrow, Saturday the 9th of May, 2009 there will be a demo at Wilson Skatepark in Beautiful Chicago, IL. There will also be a Hometown Heroes contest at the same time, Um that just sounds like a madhouse. I however will be getting there at 9am for the Barney session that happens every Saturday & Sunday at 9am. Old Dudes bitching about how crowded it will get. Some dude are going to skate the park in Whiting, IN, because of the Demos, gnarly bowls with over-vert pockets & a carving door. So grab your Coffees & or Dognuts, head up to wilson sometime B4 Noon to avoid the crazy kid rush, Sit around, work off your hangover, Talk about that band you saw last night or the one you're going to go see. I hope to see one of the Seven of you there. Dry Bones Nation is going to Be there in full effect as will Such Luck, Buster Bear & Wellborn Clothing, the Yeah! Boardshop team will be PWNing the facility also reppin' tha burbs like the subbies that they are. As of the time of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Disappearing Into You" by Raphael from the compilation "Hearts Of Space: Universal Sampler '90" 1990, Some great, relaxing, early Synth stuff in my Chillambidub playlist in my iTunes. The Bros Are Back In Town...
So, some of the old Manatee crew is going to be in town this week for a few days/weeks. My first sighting was Tim Ward from Chumphange blogitude, he just drove back 27 hours from Temp, AZ with his Daddy. I saw him at Wilson Skatepark in the Chi (pronounced Shy, not Chee or Chai which is pronouced Ch-eye not Kai) he rolled up with POB & Dav, you should know Dav from Yay! A shoppe for boards over at his Skate Illinois webplace or @ Yay Beardshop funness center. The word on the street From Six Pack Chris (Poke It) is that we are getting a Fetter in the town also, now all we need is for Chris Smith to take some time off from the art scene and have a big hoopla of a time eating Pizza & Sipping Liquids. Matt Blevins, Alex "lefty" Cohen, Pat Franklin & Zach Arctander (spelling?) Gordon & even BMX rider Kevin Porter showed up for a minute to film a line which I kept getting in his way almost every time on accident. He said it was cool because it looked like I was having more fun. On a different subject, I wore shorts skating for the first time this year. Man, was that weird. Legs were a little white, but you could still see my sock tan from years past. I'm being a puss about trying to 5-O & Tailslide an 18 inch metal edge curb. I don't know why, I know I can ollie over a 24 inch cone from flat & even up onto a 30 inch wall. What's with people waxing their Boards and Trucks? I'm sorry, but go faster and lean back into it a little, chances are it's you that is doing something wrong, not the board or curb. Now I understand that some types of surfaces need some coaxing, but not a metal edge at a skatepark. Maybe a 30 year old rusty pipe or a freshly poured curb. Wipe off that sweat from your greasy energy drink filled forehead. I think I might have to make a video about how to & when to apply wax. I really should take a shower now, I mean it's 2:15 in the afternoon for X's sake, get some food stuffs, look for a job & go play on my skateboard at the skateboard field. I keep typing Skateboard as skatebpard or skatebpoard. WTF fat fingers, I never learned how to type correctly. As of the time of the end of this post I am currently listening to "The Candy Man" by Sloppy Seconds from the album "Destroyed" 1989. There I go again, I end the post and forget about something else that happened, so NOOOOW I am listening to "Antichrist" by Slayer from the album "Show No Mercy" 1983

Rαν∍ on Fu©₭ F∀¢Ξ
So, I don't know if you're into Happy Hardcore at all, but some of it is sooooo good and puts a smile on my face. One of these artists is DJ S3RL from Brisbane, Australia and he has remixed songs for some Emo or Emotronic type band called The Medic Droid, I don't know if the name is in homeage to the robot that helps luke out when he's floating in that liquid in Empire Strikes Back. That's the first thing that came into my mind though when I heard the name, of course growing up in the era of the Star Wars franchise, numbers IV, V, & VI that is, it is embedded in my memory 4 life.
Anyway DJ S3RL has some great songs, like "Dealer", Little Kandi Raver" & "Pretty Rave Girl" and of course the remix of "Fer Sure" by the Medic Droid. Myself & SAG Arthur Zone really like some of these DJ S3RL songs, the one good things about Kandi Rave girls is that B in the D they used to have their rainbow whale tails in full bloom for all the Speaker-Freakin'-K-Hole-Stuck-In-Kandi-Boy-Ravers to drool in their Vick's Vapo-masks or down the Lanyard of their Pacifier.
Me? well, I just liked the music while they all danced around twirling. Why is it that in most Happy Hardcore songs that there is most likely the use of the Halloween theme music on the piano/synth?
As of the end of this post I am currently listening to the "Raveutopia Mix" by Shade from the album "Raveutopia" 1996.

The Gall Of Some People...

Zone skates the Carwash '09 - SuchLuck from Such Luck on Vimeo.
So, You can call it The Car Wash, South Side Mini, 47th, Soma's Ramp or the Kook Ramp. You can call him Scott, Zone or SAG. Bottom line is... This boi can skate like a gay brainwasher, he'll blow your mind. I used to see Scott skate at the Roselle skatepark in Roselle, IL. I would go there after work when I worked in south Schaumburg off Irving Park road. I would try to talk to him and he never said a word in response or he spoke soooo quiet that only a dog could hear what he said, this was back in like 2005 or '06. I have since become closer to him and we go eat sometimes. One time we went to Chinatown and ate with the Owner of Buster Bear and got candy afterward. (it is afterward, right? or is it afterwards? i hope i got it right) Anyway, enjoi this video of Scott "Zone/Sag/Arthur" Gall. replay as much as possible. At the end of this post I am currently listening to "E too D" by The 27 Various off of the "Granny Smith" 7".

Locale Sk8 Re-View....
So, The Folex over at DBN peeped me an ear about a new Rider for Yay! Boards Hop. This guy has a name of like "Zone Gall" or something, whatever that means. This is the best guy I've scene on a China Wood with four tires. Just the effartless flipping and flapping of his bored buhneath his Shelltoes is sooooooooo kewt. There's some others kids in this vimeo, but none are as good as "The Zoner".
Okay, so the cast of Caricatures consists of some hipster white-boy afro kid twirling his board about, an old dude that goes to fakie (total old guy move), some Barney that has like two tricks & a "Gabechan", I have no clue what the hell a Gabechan is, prolly some Suburb shit. Here I sit trying to Rep the Chi (that's Chee, not Chai or Shy), I'm not a Wigger.
None of us are from Chicago, I'm from STC, others are from Palatine, Roselle, Berwyn... Shit we even have guys from Wisconsin "running" this "Scene or be Seen". I'm not from the Suburbs, never have been, I've only been from one & that's STC. Been part of Chicago's Street Team for the past 24 years. KEEP THAT SHIT IN THE SUBURBS!!!
[hip-hop is bullshit, I don't give a fuck if it is February]
