Alex Soto: Frontside Bluntslide...

So, here's Alex Soto with a Front Blunt at the 2nd annual Stoopid contest in the Pilsen neighborhood in Chicago. The contest is so named because it's held on the "Stoop" of the house of the people who put on the contest. 

There were prizes from Character Skateboards, the Beerics, and Prosper Skateshop to name a few.

Goethe Fest: A School Fundraiser...

So, I just got asked to participate in the Goethe Fest-Media Kit-Final.pdf as a skateboard instructor at the event which is being held [I'm told] at the Logan Square skatepark.
I may have to decline because my Dad is wiring his basement and I told him I would help him out soon.

Chicago Open Streets 2012...

So, here's some footage of a little thing Chicago has been doing for the last couple of years called Open Streets on State Street. They shut down State street for like 5-6 blocks, each block having soemthing cool to do.
I was part of the Chicago Youth Skateboard Project teaching kids to skateboard.

It's KNDA funny that this was the 4th time that dei that I timed soembody else's flash perfectly and caught it with mai iPhone4.

Julian Izaguirre: Street Killaz 3...

So, here's a dewd that I just love to have around when I skate, even if I'm skating with other people this kid shows up, he just makes it moar funner.
It's great to see soemone in the younger [new] generation wanting to skate because of the pure enjoyment of skating, having fun and killing it at the saem time.

I love that he gets pissed at his friends when they give lame excuses to not skate on a beautiful dei.

He just loves to skate, always smiling, has the charge & barge mentality, and down to skate with anybody.

If you ever come to Chicago and have the opportunity to skate with him, you are guaranteed to have fun, laughs, and a great session.

His chest piece can be a bit intimidating, but that smile just opens the doors.
