This is not the new H-Street... (1990)

So, after Video Days [the Blind video] I would have to say that this is one of mai favorite skate videos of all time. So much of the skating in here laid the groundwork for waht all, if not most, of the skaters are doing todei.
A lot of the tricks might be dated, like the Impossible Tail Grab, the Sawblade (front foot impossible), the Ollie, and the 3-Flip tail grab just to name a few.

But all the footage herein did not consist of years of filming (like most of todei's video parts) all the footage showcased is prolly no moar than a few months old at the time.
New possibilities were being discovered on a daily basis back during "the dark times" of the skateboarding industry.

The shear rawness of the grainy VHS camcorder optics, the full extension on soem of the Ollie North Tail grabs, the infancy of most modern kids "go to" tricks, and, not-to-mention Chad Vogt's miniramp section are just a few things that make this video make me wanna go skate when it's 26℉ outside.
There's also soem really awesome stuff that isn't kooky, but nobody does anymoar sprinkled throughout.
BTW watch Marcus Wyndham @ 25:35

Eric Koston: OFF THE GRID In Silver Lake...

So, this is Eric Koston's video part for the Berrics "Off The Grid" series. In this episode Eric's dart lands in Silver Lake, which is where I spent the majority of mai last day of vacation, yesterdei, Mondei, December 26th.
Okay, well, Echo Park.
They're very close, and similar

We czech'd out soem kewl shops in the area, we ate at Pho Cafe, then parked and walked to Origami Vinyl, Out Of The Closet, and then to Brite Spot for a much hyped Brownie Sundae that lived up to said hype...
I love LA.

YEAH! Berricshop...

So, I was czeching oat the Berrics this morning, not the Beerics although those guys are pretty rad dewds down for a fun tyme, to look at the shop profile for mai old friend Steve's shop, YAY! A Shoppe for Boards and when the main Berrics page loaded it had an ad for Wellborn Clothing, owned by another friend of mine, Marfa.

(Wellborn on Twitter)
(Yeah on Twitter)
Win Win, two of mai friends have space on the berrics. It's all about numbers. No, not the show with Joel from Northern Exposure. Numbers as in audience recognition and expansion.
Great Job Guys.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Ragu" by Shaolin Wooden Men from the compilation "Psy-Harmonic Vol.3: Hacking The Reality Myth" released in 1996 on Psy-Harmonics records. I couldn't find a video for the song "Ragu", but I did find one for the song "Ohar" from 1994.
SWM is but one of the many projects and co founder of Psy-Harmonics Ollie Olsen.

Shaolin Wooden Men is also a 1976 movie starring Jackie Chan of whom which I think all of you know.
