So, here's some footage of a little thing Chicago has been doing for the last couple of years called Open Streets on State Street. They shut down State street for like 5-6 blocks, each block having soemthing cool to do.
I was part of the Chicago Youth Skateboard Project teaching kids to skateboard.

Instagram: Joey Adamczyk...

Original slow shutter iPhone4 pic.
Artsy Instagram filtered pic.
So, this is mai friend Joey, he hurt his foot 7 months ago and hasn't skated the whole time. Okay, maybe twice, but that was just to roll around to get rid of the withdrawal symptoms.
Skateboarding is like a drug in that sense.
He's just been playing a lot moar guitar, working to keep occupied, and fill the no skate void.

We planned this big group to go to Cream City todei to, kind of, celebrate his return to skateboarding.
Wouldn't you do the same for you friend?
Welcome Back, Joey.
Joey rides for Character Skateboards and Wellborn Clothing.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "20 Eyes" by Misfits from the album "Walk Among Us" released in 1982.

Foot Bruise...

So, this happened to mai foot when I was zitting on the ground filming Joey Adamczyk at Plum Grove the other dei.
I was zitting like if I were zitting in front ov mai stereo making a mixtape, both knees pointing to the left like half a swastika.
The bruised side was on the ground and when I went to get up I heard a small pop like a when you crack your knuckles, I guess that was this.

Joey Adamczyk Huge Air...

So, the other night (Sundei, October 24th) I stopped by The Office Skatepark, in Schaumburg, IL., on mai way home from Chicago. While there I took this video of Joey Adamczyk going huge off the tall part of the ¼ pike into the bank ramp. On a few tries, his head was coming sooo close to the vents on the ceiling. Joey rides for Wellborn Clothing and Character Skateboards.
You prolly can't see it, but Joey is wearing the new "IL Morto" t-shirt graphic from Wellborn.

Soem bros and a few dewdz were there shredding pretty heavily. The park isn't open yet, but there are the occasional bro sessions in the evening after a full dei of building. Now, I didn't have mai board with me because Mr. Forecaster said it was gunna be rain and 40 degrees all WKND, and guess waht? No rain, maybe a ten minute sprinkle, and it was like 60-70 the whole WKND.
So on the way home when I stopped by the park I didn't have mai board, and since I ride really loose trucks there was no other board for me to even borrow to cruz around on... luckily I had cammy with me.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Last Doors" by Krokodil from the album "An Invisible World Revealed" released in 1971.

Shawn Turner...

So, here's a skater boi that I ride with every once in a while.
His name is Shawn Turner, from the little town of Genoa, IL.
A small town that I grew up in from the years Birth-8 yrs. old.
He currently rides for Character Skateboards & Wellborn Clothing. This video was filmed by his homeboi teammate Joey Adamczyk one fine Summer dei at the Dundee Skate Park a few weeks ago.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Medley of Plantation Songs" by The Edison Quartet from a personal collection of Turn-Of-The-Century music.
Here's a Bio of the members under a different name, The American Quartet, from the website VocalGroup.org.
