Wisdom Of Tea #1...

So, there is a tea brand called Yogi™ and they make soem pretty damn good ish. This batch of wisd(homage) comes from Lemon Ginger. With every tea bag's kite string tail there is a little bit of wisdom, an ego booster or just arrogance.

Lee Bender...

So, there's this dude named Lee Bender and he was diagnosed with MS, soem pretty heavy ish if you ask me. I never met the dewd, but I have a number of friends and acquaintances that are good friends with him in Chicago, Indiana & Arizona.

Mai friend's Mom & friend's GF have it, mai friend Kelly has it. Total bummer seeing how it affect them when they go blind in one eye for a day or can't stand because their leg is paralyzed, ish just falling from their hands 'cuz they can't grip. They're all pretty strong willed and are not charity cases by any means and don't want to be treated as such and don't use it a crutch to gain anything, well maybe that really kewl parking tag to hang from the rear view to get killer parking. I know when I've been driving and we use it I almost feel like I'm breaking the law when we park and walk in to wherever we're going.

If you are in the area, being Indianapolis, Indiana, you should czech out the scene. Support Lee & Rise Skateshop. The 3rd annual benefit & Halloween Jam will be off the hook, or is it chain? At any rate it'll just be going off in general. If you have a motorcycle there will prolly be soem antics to watch, maybe a burnout on a hot dog or soemthing. Here is soem footy from the 2007 fun and games. The park is pretty fun and there is a kewl fixey track in the same parking lot. If any of this info is wrong, I'm sorry, I'm not encyclopedia brown.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Move Along" by Beats The Hell Out Of Me from the album "Revising History" released in 2004. BTHOOM are a band from Chandler, Arizona. I got this CD last year at the OMA BBQ.

KMFDM...?

So, I have been putting Twitter boxes on all of my Social pages to keep up on Social graces. Well, todei I went to put one on my Myspace music page and there was this email (pictured above), I guess I blew it, because I could have prolly blown up had I kept up with the times, technology, and my playing in general. Damn skateboard.
I might have taken up the offer if I hadn't been out of the scene for 5 years, and kept at it religiously.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "Accumulate" by Secret Society from the compilation "The World of Rave (Disc 2)" released in 1996. I could not find a video for this song, but he does have another track on Disc 2 of the compilation "Welcome to the Technodrome Vol.4" called "Hypnotize"

Lou Barlow...

So, if you like early Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh, Subadoo, Subaydu (three moar reasons to do it yourself) then you might wanna go Czech out LOOTUBE, it's Mr. Barlow's section on the Merge Records website for fun stuff and things. Really it's just videos for his songs. While you're there, go czech out the rest of the Merge catalogue like, early Superchunk.

No song, no TV, I'm just sitting here quietly ready to go to the bank after this post.

As of the end of this post I am currently listening to "This Is Not A Daydream" by Alien Factory from the compilation "Welcome To The Technodrome Vol. 4 (Disc 2)" released in 1995. I remember buying this at Camelot Music in 1995 in the Charlestowne Mall in St.Charles, IL 60174. I used to hang out there for hours and had made friends with the employees there. Sweet deals and special orders, like Helios Creeds - Kiss to the Brain.

This track is off of the Free Ambient CD that was released as a limited edition. They say it's CD only, but I've seen the CD sold without it. IDK, WTFrick is up with that ish.
